People like to send me books when they ship out care packages. In addition to receiving them as gifts, I trade with other volunteers and also pick up free ones from the Information Resource Center in our Peace Corps office. I’m not a kindle fan; I’m a sucker for physical books and burying my face in their pages.
Here’s a working list of books I’ve read during service 🙂
1. The 11th Insight – The Secret of Shambhala
4. Tune In
9. Grey
10. Zodiaction
14. Dear Exile
15. Proof Of Heaven
16. Warrior Pose
19. The Lovely Bones
20. Natural Cures ‘They’ Don’t Want You To Know About
21. Journey Of Souls
22. The Power Of One
23. Born To Run
24. The Great Run
25. Milkweed
I’m usually into classics. The only book on this list I’ve read is Tuesdays With Morrie, not a classic. Saw the movie first.

Ohh I haven’t seen the movie, only read the book! What are some of your favorite classics? I’m always interested in new literature 🙂
Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte, is my favorite. Read all books by the Bronte sisters. I love Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Read all of her books. I love Phantom of the Opera, Crime and Punishment, North and South, Wuthering Heights, The House of Mirth, etc. I have a long list. 🙂
